House Republican Intelligence Committee chair has been meeting with an agent of that international man of mystery, Manucher Ghorbanifar. Ghorbanifar attended a Rome meeting authorized by National Security Advisor Stephan Hadley in 2001 between AEI's resident cryptofascist Michael Ledeen, and Ghorbanifar. Ghorbanifar described the meeting as a discussion about regime change in Iran. But he went on to other meetings in Rome and Paris with defense analyst David Rhode. According to Alexandrovna, unnamed experts believe that at these meetings the plot to insert falsified reports into the intelligence stream was hatched. It is known that SISMI director Nicolo Pollari met with Hadley in 2002 one month before the fake documents surfaced.
