Given the current perverse political climate in the United States, and after eighteen years of regular posting since 2006, US Person has decided to suspend Persona Non Grata blog.  The felon's triumph in the 2024 election is the culmination of a 50 year conservative plan to replace democracy with plutocracy.  (see Lewis Powell in his 1971 Chamber of Commerce memo "Attack on the Free Enterprise System") Alienated nativist voters have fallen for the biggest con-job in US history.  Climate change a hoax?  2024 was the hottest year on Earth in recorded history.
