The ice is melting, the ice is melting! AP reports that the extent of Arctic sea ice has reached another record low. Satellite photos show a coverage of 2.02 million square miles this year, down from the previous record low of 2.05 million in 2005. A spokesman for the National Snow and Ice Data Center at the University of Colorado said that the record melt is strong evidence of the effects of global warming.
