The government wants you to believe the oil is gone and the seafood safe to eat. The State of Mississippi opened all of its coastal waters to fishing on August 6th with the approval of the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration and the US Food & Drug Administration. But fishermen in Mississippi wanted to know for sure, so they set out to test the waters of Mississippi Sound. What they found was oil in high concentrations.
