Creature Feature: Real Cat Blogging

World Wildlife Fund sends US these adorable and encouraging photos of snow leopard cubs at play. Much better than zoo pictures, these camera trap photos are ingcognito. Or are they? These two can play "king of the hill" in front of my camera any time they want:















Thanks to increased anti-poaching patrols, the Argut River Valley population has increased from five to eight this year. The pictured cubs are less than a year old, so there is reproduction occurring. Fewer than 7,000 snow leopards are thought to survive in the wild. You can symbolically adopt a snow leopard and contribute to their restoration here.
