The chart shows that new cases of COVID-19 are concentrated in younger age categories. Two reasons: one, the majority of older adults are vaccinated, and two, youger people are more socially active, likely to be part of an event crowd or crammed into a hot nightclub. Perhaps the boomers remember the days of polio outbreaks in the summer of the 50's. Younger generations have no memory of these events because their parents got the shots.
