From Western Australia comes this adorable "puggle" or baby short-beaked echidna (Tachyglossus aculeatus). This puggle is being hand raised at the Taronga Wildlife Hospital since it was found abandoned on a walking trail. It is estimated to be 40 days old and its sex is yet to be determined.
