Gordon Lightfoot's music defined US Person's coming of age. Some of Gordon's recordings are in his mental tape recorder. Gordon's lyrics are on par with Bob Dylan's, but with less obscurity. "Canadian Railroad Trilogy", his tribute to Canadian nation building, could serve as a national anthem. But this ballad (Released 1970) is perhaps my theme song, along with the Beatles' "Penny Lane". He will be missed.
